Making the decision to meet with a financial adviser can be daunting for many people. Understanding the process that your adviser will follow when meeting with you, and being prepared for what you can expect can help you feel comfortable with your decision.
The first meeting you have with us is at our cost. During that meeting, we’ll discuss:
- Where you are now and where you want to be
- Your financial situation
- Your financial and lifestyle goals, and Aspirations
- Your current super, investments, debts, insurance and estate planning
We are often able to provide some general advice and education during this meeting – without fail, everyone finds the meeting to be highly valuable. We’ll also introduce you to our team and explain how our Licensee, Aspirations Private Wealth, adds real value and support to ensure you get the highest quality advice throughout your time with us.
Following this meeting, we’ll contact you by phone or email to book a second meeting where we will present the ways in which we believe we can help you achieve your aspirations. We’ll confirm any upfront and ongoing investment you need to make and show you the benefits associated with our advice.
Should you choose to progress with our proposed advice, we’ll build a formal Statement of Advice and meet a third time to present this advice and begin the implementation of any recommendations. And this is really just the beginning…
Our long standing clients will tell you that our ongoing advice is where our value lies and we’ll outline to you how often we’ll meet and how we help keep you on track as you go through each stage of life, as legislation changes – in fact, anything which impacts your plan.
